Deliberately practicing the science of thank you, can change your life.

According to researchers (yes, there are actually people who study this kind of thing) people who regularly practice giving thanks have more joy and more energy. Here is the list. Hopefully you see yourself in this description. People who are consciously grateful:

  • Felt better about their lives.
  • Were more optimistic.
  • Were more energetic.
  • Were more enthusiastic.
  • Were more determined.
  • Were more interested in life itself.
  • Were more joyful.
  • Exercised more.
  • Were healthier (had fewer illnesses).
  • Got more sleep.
  • Were more likely to have helped someone else.

Join me in giving thanks. We get more of what we focus on. Tell a friend. Being thankful has its own rewards. When you are grateful, you can change anything from its ordinary state to something of a gift! I am going to sit with the power of that as I give thanks for the chance to share this with you.
