No big surprise. Smoking does not only impact the lungs. All systems in our bodies are interrelated. Smoking affects the lungs… we all know that. Given the interaction between the respiratory system (lungs) and the cardiovascular system (heart and vessels) there is an awful consequence of smoking… increased oxidized cholesterol (the bad kind).
